Default Bacon Biscuit

Bacon Biscuit

1 pound sliced bacon
4 tablespoons chopped green pepper
3 tablespoons chopped fresh mushrooms
1-1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup bacon drippings

Fry bacon until crisp. Save the drippings. Snip bacon into small pieces and
combine with green pepper and mushrooms. Sift together flour, baking powder
and dry mustard. Mix bacon and vegetables with flour. Add combined egg, milk
and bacon drippings. Stir the mixture with a fork. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto
greased cookie sheet. Bake in 425 F oven for 8 minutes.
