Default Peanut Blossoms

Peanut Blossoms

1/2 cup Shortening (solid)
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
Approximately 36 Hershey Kisses

Cream shortening, peanut butter, and sugars. Add egg, milk, and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture. Roll in one-inch
balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375*F for 8 minutes. Place chocolate
kisses on each cookie and bake for an additional 2 minutes. Makes
approximately 3 dozen cookies.
