frozen vegetables
The store I go to puts frozen mixed vegetables( soup mix) on sale from time
to time, unfortunately, I only have a freezer compartment above the refridgerator. I have three questions, First, can I thaw them out and then dehydrate them and vacumn seal them. Second how long will they last vacumn sealed. and lastly, can I chop them in a food processor to make "vegetable flakes"? |

I find that a coffee grinder can make a finer chop than a food processor, I use one all the time to make tomato powder. Connie TC |
I have a dumb question -- just making sure.
I assume you should first defrost the frozen vegetables before putting them in the dehydrator? I thought a long time before buying a large dehydrator instead of a small separate freezer. Still not sure if I made the right decision. |
