Tilia name change?
 

This week I got a FoodSaver roll at Walmart. The box didn't look like
I'd seen before. It's green, with a leaf-like logo, and the brand name
is jarden corp. The roll looks like what I expected (good thickness,
etc), but I'm a newbie and not totally familiar with this subject (altho
I've seen it before.) A friend gave me his FoodSaver Compact II machine,
without accessories, and this is my first time to use it. I thot that
the name "FoodSaver" was copyright, so it seemed ok.
Has Tilia changed their name? Did I get snookered? Something else I'm
missing?

Jarden Corp is the holder of a large number of branded goods. Also the
home corporation of what used to be Alltrista, ie Ball and Kerr jars
and, I think, Bernadin. Do a Google search on Jarden Corp and you will
see. Didn't see Tilia in there though.

Did a search on jarden corp. yes they own foodsaver, along with half the
other brand names in the world. The rolls I get at BJ'S also have been
changing over to the green box.
