This is an article about me and canning done by the Minnesota Women's
Press newspaper. Published today. It's very well done.

Very good, very good indeed. Not only some publicity for yourself but
also for safe canning and UGA. I only have one question, who is that
young woman in the picture?

Didn't she do a great job! I'm impressed with the Women's Press.
Elizabeth did the article and someone else proofed it and did what they
call "fact checking." I had a phone call from their editor (she drew
the straw) to double check some of the information with me.

Duck and run? Why, Jorge Shirley -- you sweet thang, you! Did you look
at my webpage? Sarah Whiting, the photographer, took some great
pictures -- I put a couple on my website -- I'm especially fond of the
one of all the jars -- like a cathedral window to me.

Thanks, too, for the reminder to send this to Brian Nummer at the NCHFP.

Great article, and great work. I read the article aloud to my wife and
we really enjoyed the entire read. It will be interesting to see what
creations Samantha comes up with in the coming years.

Again, great work, and congradulations,

Mark & Shauna

Thank you, Mark and Sahuna. Even Rob was impressed with the quality of
the author's work.

There's another article due out in about a week or two -- my local food
co-op's newsletter. Yeah, I'll probably post that if there's a link.
Hey, next year I may well be chopped liver. (Sam likes her baba's Peach
Raspberry Jam.)
