Default A toast to the French

July 14th marks Bastille Day – and another great excuse to drink-up & toast to French independence! What better way to indulge than with the orange liqueur inspired by the French hero Napoleón himself?

French Tear
1 oz. Mandarine Napoleón
1 oz. spiced rum
2 ˝ oz. pineapple juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Cheers! Or should I say Santé!

Mmm that really sounds tasty! I love mixing Cointreau but haven't tried Mandarine Napoleón.

I wonder if it would be sacrilege to add some cherries or a splash of grenadine?

Go for the cherry garnish! I like the idea very much.
