I was just noodling around trying to feed myself and
fell upon this: 1 heaping teaspoon Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce 1 heaping teaspoon Lee Kum Kee black bean sauce 1 heaping teaspoon Lee Kum Kee chili black bean sauce 3 tbs water 1 medium zucchini, diced 1/4 cup onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, diced 5 oz sirloin, sliced bite-size 1 tsp olive oil 1/3rd cup medium-grain rice 2 tbs Nishiki sushi rice 2/3rds cup water mix the sauces with a few tbs of water and set aside stir-fry the onions, zooks, and garlic in the oil (no salt; the sauces are loaded with the stuff) add the meat and let it brown a little add the sauces and reduce to desired consistency serve alongside the rice I guess this works better if you've been trying out LKK sauces to see what you like and have a bunch of them cluttering up the fridge. --Blair |
