They didn't do so well in Mexico chasing down Villa, or Nicaragua
trying to kill Sandino, or for that matter in Somalia where they not
only botched a rescue mission to recover an assassination squad but
also failed to capture their objective, Mohammad Farah Aidid. And to
top it off, they have neither Osama Ben Laden or Saddam Husayn. One
can conclude they can only find people who are standing still and offer
no defense, like Diem, Noriega or Allende.

Strictly speaking, it was a model of an ape.

I wonder how the rebels would have fared if France and Spain had not declared
war on it at the same time. They had more important things to protect than the
colonies. They tried to take Canada in 1812 while Britain was tied up fighting
Napoleon in Europe. It's bad enough that they were repelled, but when the war
ended and the British Fleet was freed up they could not wait to negotiate and
end to it.

They also tried in 1774-75 and were severely trounced outside of
Québec.

After 1812, we sent a punitive expedition, the only kind the US
understands, to burn Washington to the ground. My guess is they
learned their lesson because they've never tried that stunt again.

Why is it there are only 30 million canadians and 300 million Americans.

IF we ever need your oil, lumber or other natural resources we will take it
like candy from a baby.
