Default Easy way to get rid of the Corn Silk, when preparing corn on the cob.

This has been posted in previous years, but I haven't seen it this
year. It is Such a good thing to know.

Wet your corn cobs (with husks on) under the kitchen faucet. (They
don't need to soak, just get them thoroughly wet.) Put in Microwave
two or three at a time, and cook to your desired doneness.

Remove corn from oven, using towel to protect your hands. Stand the
corn on end and with a corner of the towel, just brush the husks down.
The silk will easily fall down with them. So easy,

Have a good picnic, everyone!

When I roast them in the oven and the silk just disappears.

I cook all my cotc in the microwave too with the husks on, but I remove
the hot husks under cold running water in the sink and the silk rinses
off easily too.

The corn is hot enough, it dries almost instantly on the plate and is
clean and good to go from there. The cold running water protects your
hands and makes it all easy. :-)
