Chuckle of the Day (2-5-2006)

I thought maybe she had gotten outside and it had been raining heavily. (I don't let my cats outside). I found her quite by accident 8 days later in a desk drawer! How she got in there, I'll never know. I guess I had it open (it held ebay inventory) and she crawled in there and I closed her in it. The drawers are deep and long. No, I no longer have that desk... She headed straight for the food dish and there was no pee or poop in the drawer! I called the vet and talked to her about it and she told me that as long as the cat was acting normal not to worry. It was not the first time she had heard this kind of story..... -- Om. "My mother never saw the irony in calling me a son-of-a-bitch." -Jack Nicholson |

Why didn't she raise a fuss, I'm sure you would have noticed your drawer meowing. I opened my garage door, the neighbor's cat came flying out, very very ****ed off. Aww, Sweetie, what were you doing in there? Obviously had gone in the last time the door was open ... 4 days earlier at the least. Poor thing, it's such a sweetie, since I rarely open the garage door, he's damn lucky I didn't find him dead in the spring. > Don't know why I chose that for the CotD. He's like the patron saint of animals, they all migrate to him. Well, my two bookends, Scotty and Murph the tuxedo cats, would stand side by side and stare at him sitting on the couch. He'd stand up and AHHH they'd scramble out of the room like in the cartoons, nails scratching trying to flee around the corner to get away from the giant ... pulling each other back to be the first one to hide. Soooo funny ... for a few times. Then ron started getting annoyed. They came around once they realized he was nicer than me. nancy |

I got up, opened the door an let her out. Dumb thing was it was raining and she ran to the nearest tree and sat there. I wonder!!! All the best, Andy |

Diana has a very soft, weak meow! You know how some cats are. Not much of a voice.
