I even put the words "Thanksgiving" and "Christmas" in my keyword filter because frankly the "What are you cooking for...?" threads about those holidaze quickly bore me. I'd recommed you try XanaNews, but it looks like you're working from Mac OS, and it doesn't have a port there. I was just ranting...... And yes, I run an I-mac with OS-X. MT is a very good newsreader and after reviewing filter settings, it looks like there is a setting to kill Newsgroups. I'll have to play with it and see what happens. Cheers! -- Om. "My mother never saw the irony in calling me a son-of-a-bitch." -Jack Nicholson |

I have KF'd so many posters the last few days that I am >beginning to wonder if anybody is out there ![]() ITA - I keep hoping that I've KF'd the last one in the Chung X-posting melee. I may KF the occasional RFCer in the process, as I tend to KF any poster in the thread unless I immediately recognize the poster. I subscriber to 2 of the main newsgroups that they post to. I have set them as the first ones to have headers downloaded. Then set crossposting management to not download anything that has been downloaded to an earlier group. I do not download any bodies in the two Chung groups. Seems to work. -- Susan N.
