The LORD guides those who walk with HIM exactly how to use that which HE
teaches them. Because Carol's walk with the LORD is infinitely closer
than your walk, her use of HIS teachings is not mockery of HIM at all.
The same can not be written concerning your comments about the Gospels.

Truth is simple.

I'm not so sure we can know this to be true Andrew. A man who can clear
his mind of all that he sees to be stumbling blocks may end up walking
much closer to Him than ever I could.

Don, did have a valid point and one I have raised myself in the past
when The Message was read. If it does nothing else, The Message sparks
the flame in some people. It's lively and I've seen it waken the
elderly and made them sit up in surprise and listen. Maybe it's a
reflection of The Holy Spirit within the reader when it is read.

I have an academic friend who has an array of bibles and yet he seems
to have honed in on The Message and taken a lot of spiritual comfort
and interpretation from it. It seems to be far removed from the
academic world. The Lord finds a way to speak to us and touch our souls
one way or another.

In Christ's love
Carol T

Correct.

Already done and continue to do in my choice to continue walking with
the LORD, Whom I love with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength :-)).

Only the LORD's opinion matters here. You would have known this had
you ever walked with HIM.

All the time.

The opposite of truth is not error. You would have known this had you
been able to discern the truth.

Without the LORD, knowledge of Christian doctrine is meaningless.

With the LORD, there is infinite knowledge of all things seen and
unseen.

Those who side with the truth remain invincible whether one or many in
number.

No.

Receiving the LORD's guidance is not reading the LORD's mind...

If you were also secure in the truth, you too would have the strength to
resist the temptation of descending into namecalling.

Amen and amen :-)

May Don make the choice to turn from the wide meandering path of the
world to the straight and narrow path of the LORD, in Jesus' most
precious and holy name.

"He drew His bow and made me the target for His arrows. He pierced my
heart with arrows from His quiver." (Lamentations 3:12-13)
