Have you made the gingerbread houses yet?
-- http://www.jamlady.eboard.com, updated 12-18-05 - Church review (I think I'll become a critic - Rob's been calling me one for years!) and a toffee recipe. |

: > Have you made the gingerbread houses yet? No plurals! Just one house, thank you, on my first attempt <g>. I meant to post or email yesterday but didn't get a chance. Base construction took place last night - walls and roof all holding at the moment (but keep the beads handy). Some bits I'm sure a little wonky, but it's probably squarer than the house we live in <g>. I'm going to ask Rob to run the aircon if needed, to make sure the house doesn't get too hot or humid today. Not sure what the forecast is for today, but it feels warm already (8.30am) it's expected to be around 40C (104F) tomorrow. And it gets humid. My sister and Alex and Nathan are coming over tonight to help in decorating. I've asked her to bring her digital camera with her, so if she remembers we'll take a few photos. Gotta go - got to go to work and spread some more Christmas joy. They've demolished a couple of loads of rum balls, a couple of lots of Christmas cake, and a whole heap of candy canes so far. Today there's caramel fudge and some biscuits. Rhonda Anderson Cranebrook, NSW, Australia |
