I has taken me a long time to get to the point where I will have a very small serving. I doubt I have enough time left in my life to actually get to the point where I would actually like it. Parsnips are another story. I hated them even more than turnip until I tried them well roasted and discovered that they are very tasty. I tried them boiled again after that and they were just as disgusting as I had remembered. As for asparagus.... I have always liked that. It is one of my favourites. I also really like scallops. When it comes to oysters, there are different ways of having them that makes them completely different creatures. I like smoked oysters. For those who don't like them raw or smoked there are things like Oysters Rockerfeller that are pretty good. Personally, I like raw oysters once in a while. They are like a tonic. I always feel really good after eating them. |
