Default Tractor cake (or other children's cakes)

Hi I'm looking for books or recipes regarding children's birthday cakes.

I want to make a cake for my son's second birthday and need some ideas. One
idea is to make a 'tractor cake' as he's very much into that sort of thing.
However, I need some directions on how to do it.

Many thanks for your help.

Dave

i have the answer! i made a train cake using a swiss roll. I am sure you
could modify one for a tractor.

i used one swiss roll, cut a bit off it and put on a small one for the
funnel. used another bit of swiss roll for a carriage. Then just covered
it all in icing and lollies. if i could do it, anyone can! it was so
popular i had to make it again 2 years later!

Just bake an ordinary cake, ice it, and decorate with miniature John
Deeres... after the cake is long gone he'll have the tractors.

To start, sort through your children's closest to find any clothesthat they are no longer wearing. You can use these clothes to sell to theresale shop for extra money, or allow your children to swap the clothes fortheir own selections on their own.
