Andy, this reminds me of my f-i-l EXACTLY! LOL, thanks.

I've been meaning to ask: perhaps you or someone else will know the answer.
Last night per Pandora's instructions, I went to tinyurl.com to see if I
could post a picture, and was wondering this. If one sees a picture on a
newspaper website, or just any-old website, and one saves it to one's own
computer, can one post that picture to tinyurl.com - or is tinypic.com
comething different altogether?

At any rate, does anyone know if it is ok to post 'anything you go from the
web' to tinypic.com, and then post the url to a newsgroup?
Thanks,
Dee Dee

Dee Dee,

tinurl.com is one site for shortening the length of html links. Not for
posting images.

tinypic.com is one site to post pictures. One of many on the internet.

If a picture has a copyright (C) then posting the image to tinypic.com
without permission would be a copyright infringement. Instead, post a
link (using tinyurl if necessary) to the image and that's fine.
