Default It's all your fault... ;-)

All this talk of italian sauces and such, gave me a craving for Italian
tonight! So, I'm going to cheat on my diet and it's all y'alls fault!
<lol>

Being switched back and forth between swing and graveyard shifts tho'
did not leave me a lot of energy (or time) to do it right so I cheated.

HEB has the most _divine_ fresh marinara sauce in the deli so I bought a
16 oz. container of that and am mixing it with 2 cans of low salt
organic diced roma tomatoes. I browned a package of 5 italian sausages
and poured the sauce mix over that to cook down.

Will serve topped with extra mozarella shredded cheese and 1 package
each for me and my housemate of Micheallinas Lasagna.....

Not bad at 99 cents per package.

Yes, I know how to make lasagna from scratch, but just did not feel like
doing it. Too tired.

Gods I hate not working a regular shift! :-(

But, that's a looooong story as to why it's happening. Suffice it to say
that few people want to continue working here under these conditions.
I've been there 18 years and have too much to lose by leaving! Too many
people have quit and this field has gone so far down now that there is
nobody to replace them.

<sigh>

I'll still enjoy dinner tonight. ;-) I'm sick of this strict diet but
still have at least another 8 months to go if I can keep losing the
weight!

Down 37 lbs. and counting......

Let's hear it for Metformin!

Me, too! But I had already planned for chicken with cilantro pesto, so
we just had that. But man, that sauce that Nancy and Wayne were
describing...loaded with pork products...I'm not really a pork person,
but I'd love to try that!

I hope it was an enjoyable cheat!

It was indeed!
My stomach is so shrunken tho' from dieting, I can't eat much anymore.
I only ate 1/2 the sausage and 1/2 the piece of lasagana, and some sauce
and cheese before I got stuffed! The rest is in the 'frige for later
along with 3 more sausages and the rest of the sauce. That will be more
than enough for tomorrow.

<grins>
My goal is 10 lbs. per month. I'm now behind by 3 lbs. :-(

Maybe this "cheat" will kick it in the right direction!!!
It's all I had to eat all day so it should be ok.

Thanks!

Oh, that's great.....the one working in the hospital that posts to an
LSD newsgroup. And a huge tub of lard, taboot.

Drop some acid and eat some more 'shrooms, honey. Maybe you'll
hallucinate that you don't look like ****ing Jabba the Hut.

I don't use LSD...
Obviously you have not read my posts.

At least I don't hang out on alt.drugs.hard and use cocaine like you do.
Everybody knows that cocain users are ass holes!

Where do you live where you can get good sauce at an HEB without having
to carry a sidearm?

Central Texas.

The fresh Buitoni marinara sauce is REALLY very good!
It's in the refrigerated deli section. It's not canned.
