Yes. On the other hand, leftover crab cakes make a nice breakfast or lunch!

Hello: I made crab cakes for dinner and will cook them in another hour
or two after sufficiently chilled.
My question is--my husband and I will probably only eat half of them.
Can I freeze the balance of them uncooked?

Why not cook them all, and freeze the extras. Then you only have to
defrost and reheat. (I've done this often.)

Cook them and pop into the fridge. Make grand stuffing for anything from
chicken breasts to mushrooms.

If not, just stand at the sink and eat them, still warm from cooking or,
later, cold out of the fridge. The occasional slug from the big
container of OJ helps to cleanse the palate.
