Ranger Cookies

Recipe By amsel's Heirloom Recipes
Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : cookies

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 sticks soft butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
2 cup rolled oats -- quick cooking
2 cup rice krispies
1 cup coconut

1. Mix ingredients in order given.
2. Roll into walnut-sized balls.
3. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 8 minutes.

Are you kidding?! I'm going to have the three daughter-units making a

Do they think it's cool that there is a cookie named after their Daddy?
Hint: if you make these on a humid day, they're likely to fall apart. In
which case, you sprinkle the crumbs on ice cream, or use them to make a pie
crust. Miche from New Zealand can vouch for these.

I've got a recipe for tortilla roll-ups that virtually everyone eats until
they're sick the first time they try them. Say the word, and I'll post it.
