Default REC - Ranger Cookies

I don't know why I'm so obsessed with cookies lately. Maybe because I
haven't had any in such a long time? Keep planning to make them, then
something always seems to happen. Here is one of my all-time
favorites. Ask Miche. She's made them.

Ranger Cookies

Recipe By :Carol Peterson
Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Cookies/Bars Family Recipes

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 cup soft butter -- (2 sticks)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup rolled oats -- quick cooking
2 cup Rice Krispies®
1 cup coconut

1. Mix ingredients in order given.
2. Roll into walnut-sized balls.
3. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 8 minutes.

NOTES : These cookies don't stand up well to humidity. No problem.
Sprinkle the pieces on ice cream!
