She faces up to 20 years in prison, however the TV news media
speculates it will be less. Hmmmm.... she could work on this: http://www.npr.org/programs/wesat/fe...2002/apr/loaf/ |

You don't not punish someone because others committed greater crimes and/or haven't gotten caught yet... Mothra definitely did the crime so she should do the time. Actually at the eleventh hour she got lucky and therefore will very likely get off easy, way too easy, perhaps a year or two in some Federal country club, plenty of time for her to crochet pink doilys... she had better worry more about her next hurdle, the IRS. It's unfortunate Hillery and Ken didn't get caught, but that's no defence, certainly does not excuse Mothra, a mean spirited bitch who treated her employees like dirt as well as everyone else... and with all the millions she amassed she gives nothing back, contributes not a dime to any humanitarian cause... but her meaness is a separate issue from the fact that she is a thief and liar. I can't wait for the IRS to wring every nickle she;s got from her scrawny selfish neck. She's definitely guilty, and they found her so, for that I am glad. I feel not an iota of pity for her. The irony is that she shows no remorse, she actually believes she is innocent... for that I hope she receives a sentence weighted with the full impact the law allows... and then a humiliating work release program where she's publicly demeaned, where she's made to scrub the curb the entire length of NYC's 34th St eight hours a day on her hands and knees, wearing a lurid jump suit with her name boldly emblazoned in big letters front, back, and across her big fat nasty butt. How dare some think she deserves kid glove treatment, Mothra Miscreant and her ilk think nothing of stealing the life blood from average working class citzens, those least able to defend themselves... may she, the ingrate that she is, rot in hell. Keep in mind the crime she was found guilty of is merely the tip of the iceberg, the one where seh got caught, be well assured she's been doing similar misdeeds and probably of far greater magnitude for a long, long time. Anyone feeling sorry for that dirt bag is a friggin' fool. ---= BOYCOTT FRENCH--GERMAN (belgium) =--- ---= Move UNITED NATIONS To Paris =--- Sheldon ```````````` "Life would be devoid of all meaning were it without tribulation." |

How dare some think she deserves kid I'm not familiar with New York City. What's special about 34th St., that you specifically mention it? |

While he was in office Mayor Giulianni instituted a program to save the city money whereas convicted felons that qualified for work release programs would be used to clean certain of the city's major arteries, 34th St being the first chosen because due to traffic patterns it can easily be closed off to vehicular traffic in each direction at various times... plus 34th St is the garment district, Mothra's main stomping grounds, she'd be sure to be noticed. The felons wear bright orange jump suits emblazoned with their names. ---= BOYCOTT FRENCH--GERMAN (belgium) =--- ---= Move UNITED NATIONS To Paris =--- Sheldon ```````````` "Life would be devoid of all meaning were it without tribulation." |

By all accounts, Ken Lay is a long time close friend of the Bush family, Sr. and Jr., and one of their biggest campaign contributors. Martha is a Democrat......... Not that that makes her any less guilty, but it could explain why she seems to get more attention from the government than Lay does, even though her crime is on a MUCH smaller scale than Lay's. H |

She would not hav eneeded any front money from Tyson, she had plenty of her own. She made the money in one huge trade which is suspicious but it has been done many times in the past by others. My biggest concern is that Bush will start another war to divert attention from the problems with the stock market. It is a pretty good system in theory, but we are seeing far too many cases of people manipulating stocks and screwing their shareholders of their hard earned money. |

He could make some comments about her contributions to uplifting American culture, and how she's being made the scapegoat for much worse crimes performed by other people. Because she's a woman. Properly spun, a pardon probably could be made palatable to the American people, so it wouldn't create negatives for Bush and might even be positive. And in the resulting controversy, the economy, unemployment, and Iraq would be taken off the front burner of the media. |

That if Bush isn't already manipulated by the Walton Monopoly - hoping that KMART will finally go out of business. If anyone had an agenda to see MSL out of bizness it would be them, as they have been knocking off the KMART line of MSL products since her indictment. |

Martha Stewart did not lie to the American people the way that creeps
like John Poindexter do -duh, I guess Republican LIARS are hired by the Federal Government ! Investigator, David Sween exposes biased judge. No wonder the Prosecution rejected a reasonable judge, to give this idiot the opportunity to pervert justice. Date: 2004-03-03 21:27:13 David Sween wrote: Why does Judge Delucchi contradict himself? In his own words, "I'm persuaded the dog tracking in and around Modesto can't be corroborated'' said Delucchi. "You can't cross-examine the dog." Delucchi, however, ruled that prosecutors will be able to present a separate piece of dog-tracking evidence that places Laci Peterson's scent at the very pier where her husband said he left for an afternoon of fishing on the day she went missing. The jury will hear testimony from an expert dog handler whose Labrador retriever Trimble followed Laci Peterson's scent from the parking lot of the Berkeley Marina to the edge of the pier. Court precedent requires corroboration of any dog-tracking evidence, Delucchi said, and called the marina evidence admissible because Scott Peterson admitted going to the marina, and Laci Peterson and her fetus washed ashore 2 1/2 miles from the marina four months later. What does that have to do with the need to follow Laci's scent? Where is the corroboration? Did anybody see Laci at the Marina? Is Judge Delucci going to cross-examine the dog? This judge does not make any sense. First and foremost, the crap that Delucci has chosen to call evidence is straight out of the National Enquirer, and this is the direct quote: "And Trimble, another Lab tracking dog, produced the most compelling evidence against Scott. He showed that Scott left his warehouse in his truck, headed for the Berkeley Marina, and the dog picked up Laci's scent – at the marina!" Is Judge Delucchi going to cross-examine the dog? Moreover, Delucchi has selectively excluded dog tracking evidence because Modesto police detective Al Brocchini called off a search even though a bloodhound named Merlin appeared to be following Laci Peterson's scent, and that is not justifiable. Where is the corroboration? Who saw Laci at the marina? Eyewitnesses corroborated the fact that Scott was at the marina, alone. This is extremely bizarre and presumptuous corroboration -like denying Merlin the tracking dog, the opportunity to follow Laci Peterson's scent. Delucchi's peculiar obsession to dismiss the fact that nobody saw Laci at the marina, not to mention the fact that she was witnessed walking her dog on December 24th, clearly indicates that the so called, "corroborated" dog-tracking evidence is nothing more than the bizarre theory that the National Enquirer publicized. That is not even what you call evidence, let alone, corroborated evidence. http://www.geocities.com/botenth/national.htm |
