I used to do that all the time... :-)
Works great!

When I was a college student, I'd cook pieces of turkey or chicken in
aluminum foil "boats" in my toaster oven for dinner. I had a small
plastic container in the freezer, and I'd pour the drippings from the
boat into that every day until it was full. I'd then skim the fat and
use it for whatever.

Wonderful flavor!!!
