Aloha Stadium is shutting down. The Stadium Authority announced on
Thursday, Dec. 17, that it will be closed indefinitely after all
previously scheduled events are honored.

Maybe if they didn't "Pocket" the money, that was set aside, for
repairs, infrastructure and maintenance of the stadium, we wouldn't have
this problem, if you don't believe me, take a look around Hawaii, roads
that haven't seen new or fresh pavement, in years, large metal plates
(that are everywhere), that are meant to be "Temporary", is still
covering the same hole for the past 30 years, water main breaks, occur
almost on a weekly basis, spring up everywhere, due to the neglect, and
aging pipes, that they'll repair, just that one section, instead of
removing the whole pipeline, and putting in a new one, "Putting a Band
Aid", over it, and calling it good, until the next water main break,
iwhich s almost a certainty, it's not a matter of IF, but WHEN!,
anything to cut corners, and POCKET the rest, and that's why Hawaii's
Infrastructure, is Crumbling, AGES OLD NEGLECT AND MISMANAGEMENT AND
MISUSE OF ALLOCATED AND ALLOTTED FUNDS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND
MAINTENANCE!!!

It's scary! I found a huge screw on the ground last time I was there.
Looked like it fell from a rusted spot.

No maintenance since 2017???

Dang.

Sure hope they get "the new one" built...
