I am thinking of a case in Texas where man shot someone who had been burlarising his neighbour's house, and the Zimmerman trial where a guy followed and harassed a kid who he thought had no right to be there and ended up shooting and killing him. |

In Arkansas , I can carry openly at any time with some specific exceptions - like court rooms and other offices in the local courthouse . I can carry concealed while on a "journey" - which is defined as any trip out of my home county . I seldom carry these days , partly because there is a weapon (not necessarily a gun ...) within close proximity at all times when at home , and partly because I feel safe surrounded by like minded people . There are though, a few gun nut that get a good erection when they can show off their iron. I had a brother-in-law that became a cop and I think the only reason was so he could carry a gun. That's another story. He was on desk duty from stupid injuries. |
