LOL Yes, I believe there is often a mention of an EE degree. I've seen some films noir where someone had a corded radio sitting on the edge of a bathtub while soaking and ooops! Stupidity or murder? I worked with a man who was about 50 who slipped, fell and hit his head on his way into the office. He said he was fine, went on to work. The next morning his wife said he was completely disoriented. He was rushed to the hospital. Turns out the "minor" head injury in the fall caused a subdural hemotoma. He died. |

I didn't watch the guy that cuts mine but he knows better than to mow wet grass. He edged and blew off the driveway. Next week I'll have him cut back the azaeala bushes and the camelias now that they've stopped blooming. This will ensure they bloom again in the fall. I had bought a lawn mower with full intentions of doing my own mowing years ago. Problem is the soil is so sandy and soft the mower sunk right down. Self-propelled, I couldn't budge it. There are also mole tunnels. I sold the mower and I pay someone to do the work. I do have a leaf blower and I blow stuff off the driveway. This time of year there are lots of brown squiggly things that fall from oak trees. Per Wiki, "They're called catkins, and they are the spent male flowers whose purpose is to shed pollen that is carried by the wind to female flowers." All I know is they make a mess all over the driveway. I have a *cordless* electric leaf blower for things like that. ![]() Jill |

He did the edges too. I'll have to arrange to have ours cut for the month of June. Thats when Don has his eye surgery and he's specifically not allowed to cut grass due to infection possibilities. First the left eye, then the right eye 2 weeks later. |
