Well aren't you special. You mowed part of your small yard. I mowed all
of my yard yesterday. There is more than an acre of lawn to mow.

Right. Nobody cares, but he got at least 7 replies. Who knows how many

Do you think anyone who replied cares about the name of the hardware store?
I had a homeowner experience today too. I killed a ****ing groundhog with
carbon monoxide. I had a cousin whose husband killed himself with carbon
monoxide. I wish that Kuthe would kill himself with carbon monoxide. He
could use Baby II.

<initiate DS1 mode> My guess is in the future, people will use John's
corpse to power their cars, as he himself ironically becomes fossil
fuel.

Baby II likely has some form of emission controls. And he'd likely
**** that up anyway, just like his winter freezing suicide several
years ago.

I recommend a really old heap from the 50's or early 60's. Only
problem is it *burns* GASOLINE!

It's not as though the name of the store means anything to anyone here
(except perhaps you). I don't know why he would want a corded light
over a sink.

Because he can't afford to pay an electrician and he doesn't have the
skills to install a hard-wired light himself.

Likely. Seems odd to me there wouldn't already be a light over that
(I'm guessing laundry sink) in the basement.

What do you mean he can't afford it?? He's rich. That is what he kept
boasting about when the father he hated kicked the bucket and left him
more money than he could handle responsibly.

girls and old women mow whole yards, string trim and blow debris every
day of the week around this country.
You shouldn't have mowed the grass when it is so wet. The mower tears
the grass when it is wet, leaving the grass blades open for dieease
and the blade will dry up to make a brownish lawn,
Also, all that wet gunk isn't good for your mower. You challenge the
motor and pack wet gunk all around the machine.
You've made the mower blade all icky and not so sharpe.

Funny thing is, it's an electric mower so he's out walking around on who
knows how tall wet grass. I realize the electrical cords for outdoor
yard work are in fact quite water-tight, but the very thought of him
mowing wet grass trailing electrical cord... water and electricity don't
mix.

that........never mind.

LOL Yes, I believe there is often a mention of an EE degree.

I've seen some films noir where someone had a corded radio sitting on
the edge of a bathtub while soaking and ooops! Stupidity or murder?
Hmmm.

You mean..... he can wire a circuit board and put together a computer
but can't run a two wire line from a switch to the light fixture? Yeah.

I was thinking the same thing. But I did clean the cat's litter box and
washed breakfast dishes later this morning.

Falls at any age can be dangerous.

I worked with a man who was about 50 who slipped, fell and hit his head
on his way into the office. He said he was fine, went on to work. The
next morning his wife said he was completely disoriented. He was rushed
to the hospital. Turns out the "minor" head injury in the fall caused a
subdural hemotoma. He died.

I watched the guy that cuts mine. He did the edges too.

I didn't watch the guy that cuts mine but he knows better than to mow
wet grass. He edged and blew off the driveway. Next week I'll have him
cut back the azaeala bushes and the camelias now that they've stopped
blooming. This will ensure they bloom again in the fall.

I had bought a lawn mower with full intentions of doing my own mowing
years ago. Problem is the soil is so sandy and soft the mower sunk
right down. Self-propelled, I couldn't budge it. There are also mole
tunnels. I sold the mower and I pay someone to do the work.

I do have a leaf blower and I blow stuff off the driveway. This time of
year there are lots of brown squiggly things that fall from oak trees.
Per Wiki, "They're called catkins, and they are the spent male flowers
whose purpose is to shed pollen that is carried by the wind to female
flowers."

All I know is they make a mess all over the driveway. I have a
*cordless* electric leaf blower for things like that.

I'll have to arrange to have ours cut for the month of June. Thats
when Don has his eye surgery and he's specifically not allowed to cut
grass due to infection possibilities. First the left eye, then the
right eye 2 weeks later.
