Default i made tomato soup today from scratch

just to see how it turned out with using our home
canned tomato juice.

a simple thing really, fry some flour in butter,
make it into a paste with some of the juice, add
garlic salt, onion powder, stir.

add some more tomato juice stir, warm, add some
more tomato juice, heat, stir.

smooth it out if you want, i didn't care if it
had a few lunps in it.

put a few crackers in and that was dinner.

the mistake i made, was that i had a bit of milk
left in my cup so i poured that in there and it
pretty much instantly curdled, i wasn't upset or
surprised and i still ate it, just a bit of a
textural difference, still edible, but i sure won't
make that mistake again.
