He didn't need anybody else to tell lies. After he passed a dementia test, he claimed that the doctors were impressed with his huge intelligence. Because he passed a dementia test... No way does that small arena hold 25,000 seats. Having seen the empty place, I'll guess no more than 5,000 if even that much. The larger soccer stadiums would hold that many but they are also mostly empty. As appealing as soccer is, those stadiums are probably mostly empty even without the covid concern. LOL |

LOLOL Ophelia, the CDC was saying no masks or reserve for the Medical people at the start, (which is what Trump repeated from Dr. Fauci and CDC) then swapped to home made ones with directions on how to make them (Trump followed suit then). This was very early on and there was a lot of confusion at that time everywhere. Folks who scoff, don't remember the timeline. It was about 3 weeks of ?mask or no mask? Then guidelines firmed up and everyone put out to wear a mask. |

My last bike was a Honda 750. Motorcycle batteries could easily last 10-15 years... and were small so didn't cost much. I didn't ride an Indian, I had a friend who owned two... one for him and one for his wife. I didn't think much of Indians, they constantly needed repairs. I never owned a Harly either, same reason, constant repairs.5 |

My Chinese friend kept the news that his dad's cancer was terminal from him. That's the Chinese way. One of my client's daughter told me to lie to her mother about her hearing aids - to tell her that she has the best hearing aids. I can certainly do that. It's better than telling her that her problem is one of cognitive processing rather than amplification. |

And that's a very wrong thing to do, imo. VERY WRONG! If I knew I was going to die soon, I'd probably spend my last days doing something different. I had a friend once, got a radical cancer operation (hole in throat to breath). He lived a few more years with that crap and eventually the cancer came back and he was going to die. Doctor and his wife told him that all was fine. I didn't like the lies but it wasn't my place to tell him so I didn't. I went to visit him a couple of days before he went back for his final hospital stay. We talked about all things. He told me his past few years was nothing but a nightmare and not worth those extra years. I didn't know what to say to him but I did realize that even being lied to about "doing fine," he knew he was dying. I'm sure he felt it...that he was getting worse, not better. He went back into the hospital a few days later and died 2 days later. |

They opened him up, look, closed him up as they could do nothing. Docs told him they helped but told my mother, a couple of weeks at best. A year later, he remodeled my kitchen. Lasted another year. |

After he retired, they discovered "black lung" so he got tested for that. They told him that he did indeed have it and would probably die within a few years. He was 72 then and he lived to age 97. He didn't die from the black lung then either. |

That's just something that the Chinese like to do. I don't have any particular feelings about it because it's not my culture. OTOH, my guess is that it's not uncommon in other cultures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RofpAjqwMa8 |

Mostly, I think it's pretty wacky and funny - on so many different levels! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIXscGcdGyk |
