I have heard and read rumors that state that this EVOO is a fake and a scam.

Take a look at this page: <https://www.fooddive.com/news/maker-of-bertolli-olive-oil-settles-class-action-lawsuit-for-7m/521140/> Would they settle the lawsuit if there was nothing to it? If you like the taste of Bertolli olive oil, buy it. Cindy Hamilton |

Really? You're going with Rachael Ray? > [ I don't use that much, the small bottle I have is Whole Foods "365" brand, and no, I've not read the label for "origin" info...] WF 365 olive oil is from California, if I am reliably informed. I use olive oil once a day, on average, drizzled on bread and/or in a salad dressing. I'm not a "purist", but I know what I like and that's what I buy. What I like is Greek olive oil made from koroneiki or kalamata olives. I usually buy this: <https://www.amazon.com/Lapas-Organic-Olive-Oil-25-4/dp/B074J82Q17> I picked up three bottles at Whole Paycheck last week. Cindy Hamilton |

The Chinese market for olive oil is huge. Ironically, the Chinese don't even like olive oil. I like soybean oil myself. It's even cheaper than Chinese olive oil. |
