Man, we've all heard about the loss of sense of smell, but this is a trip. I can't smell coffee, lavender, chocolate, and I even took a big whiff of the jug of Cholula. Nothing. I may use this in interesting ways, eating things that I would ordinarily not eat.

"left wing" media aren't communist. European countries aren't
communist. Communism means, for instance, that there's no private
ownership of any means of production. Do you see anybody advocate that

No, the means of production has been driven overseas because workers there
are willing to work for peanuts. The average auto worker in China makes about
$35,000 per year. Where are you going to find someone in the U.S. who will do
that?

Heaven forbid we have regulations to protect the environment, workers
and to protect the economy from corrupt business practices? The right
played a major role in shipping industry overseas when they pushed for
trade deals that allowed North American businesses to move their plants
overseas where they were able to abuse the environment and hire people
to work for peanuts and then have the goods shipped back here without
tariffs so they could sold for less and yield a much larger profit.

Trumps detractors are guilty of sedition? What about all the Trumpsters
who are protesting the election results and threatening violence? There
was an election. The results are in. Trump lost. He has gone to the
courts and his actions have been repeatedly dismissed because there has
been no substance to any of the allegations.

Heaven forbid the reason the majority of American voters reject Trump is
that he is a lying asshole. Holy crap. The guy opens his mouth and

No, cheaper consumer goods are now produced in Asia and other places, they have much lower production costs for these items than we do...apparel, electronics, and many other things are *vastly* cheaper for US consumers, and that is a good thing. Even the poorest in the US can afford big - screen TV's, microwaves, computers, air conditioners, decent clothing, cellphones, better food, appliances, OTC medications...this adds to an increase in our overall standard of living. What was luxury is now for everyone...the price of a nice big - screen TV, adjusted for inflation is __5%__ of what it was in 1990...air conditioning is __95%__ cheaper than in 1955, in inflation - adjusted dollars...

And US production workers are *far* more efficient than in 1950, 1970 or even 1990...many fewer hands are needed to produce higher - value items...and those production workers are still well - paid, according to their skills level...

We still have a huge manufacturing base, but we make many "high added - value" products. Quick wiki:
