Second try at replying worked!Ā* What would be the point of putting four
items in a non-trash can that looks like a trash can?Ā* If airtight and
"no bugs" is your answer then you would be wrong because it is neither.

I would say possibly large dog food keeper but may be an Asian style
Rice keeper (they were very common in Japan). You can see there are
other keepers inside it with possibly pasta?

It's just for organization and probably is airtight. Shape is optimal
for the narrow space.

Alex, not everyone lives in the confined cultural space you alot as
'normal'. In Japan, to get at the bulk dry goods storage, you lifted a
plate in the kitchen floor and it was under there....

That container is more like 20 quarts... I have a few that size, handy
for storing dry cat food and bird seed... Chewy sells them on casters.

The flexible tiles are an excellent idea.

It's still just pictures of shelves in a kitchen closet. Nothing to get
terribly worked up about.

Certainly not worth two separate threads. He knows how to reply to an
existing thread. Either he can't find the original thread that he started or
his narcissism makes him start additional threads.

Agreed and Steve's getting all worked up over a simple storage unit for
dry stuff that to me is thin line and right for the space.

It's easy to think John's a narcissist. But children also always go
"Look what I have! Look what I can do! Look what I found! Look at me!"
Yet most children aren't narcissists. I don't think John is either.

I wonder if you've missed who the 2 real narcissists in this group
are. The biggest giveaway is how they react to criticism.

Sorry, Cindy, that was becoming a bit advanced. You just see someone
who's different from the rest and you start finger pointing and
ridiculing. To each their own level.

I bought one of these for the chicken food.Ā* It is gasketed and has a
solid latch that compresses the gasket.Ā* Ants still managed to get into
it.Ā* I switched to freezing the food and keeping smaller portions in a
Tupperware-type container in the refrigerator.Ā* The chickens probably
don't give a shit but I'm not interested in feeding ants.

It is. When I lived out in town (Muira-cho part of Sasebo), I had the
single unit but others had the 3 box type that slide back and forth so
you could access 2 at a time.
