I would say possibly large dog food keeper but may be an Asian style Rice keeper (they were very common in Japan). You can see there are other keepers inside it with possibly pasta? It's just for organization and probably is airtight. Shape is optimal for the narrow space. Alex, not everyone lives in the confined cultural space you alot as 'normal'. It is. When I lived out in town (Muira-cho part of Sasebo), I had the single unit but others had the 3 box type that slide back and forth so you could access 2 at a time. |
