Tax laws are not simple and there is no way to please everyone. That's why countries, states and provinces have their own tax laws. Some have sales taxes and some do not. Some have programs that need funding and others see no need for those services if it is going to cost the taxpayers more. I remember some toilet stall graffiti from the early 70s.... when shit becomes of value the poor will be born without assholes. |

Fifteen minutes later he had to go so badly he thought he was going to explode. I asked him if he had eaten at McDonalds. Sure enough. He is my brother and we share the same inherited digestive processes. I had made the mistake of eating at McDs a couple times in my early years working on the road. |

I like fresh tomatoes on pizza. Most pizza uses sauce and no matter how good the crust is, crappy sauce will spoil the experience. You need balance, same with cheese and toppings. What's your favorite Dough recipe you use? I'm partial to this one: 1.5lb dough 1 c water 4 ts olive oil 2 3/4 c flour 1/4 c cornmeal 3/4 ts salt 1 ts yeast 3-4 ts various spices (matched to the pizza) I add that all into the machine and put it in dough mode then when out, shape to the pan (or pans, might make 2 smaller ones), rolling to thick or thick at the mood of the time. Generally 2 thin or 1 thick there. Roll them out a bit bigger and you can tuck bits of cheese and seasonings along that then fold over and crimp down a bit with fingers or fork for a nice crust edge. |

I once rode along with a co-worker to the parts store to buy some tubing for a brake line. He was a young kid that had a vintage Jeep. The guys at the shop called him "surfer boy." The brake line was for the Jeep, which we were in. That thing was geared so low that having no brakes wasn't that much of a problem. That was a memorable ride. My boss had an early 70's souped up Toyota Celica. He took me for a ride in it one time. I think he was trying to impress/scare me. Mostly, I thought he spent too much money fixing it up. The guys at the shop called his car "Jap-mobile." I had an RX2 coupe at the time. My guess is that I could have beaten his jap-mobile with my jap-mobile easily in a drag race. |

Sorry. The cornmeal is a fail for me. Too gritty. I never use cornmeal in anything. Here's the recipe I use: 8 ounces water 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast 1-2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 12.16 ounces flour 1 teaspoon salt All ounces are by weight. Obviously 12.16 is a misguided conversion from grams, and my kitchen scale doesn't have that much precision anyway. I give it 12.1 or 12.2, wherever it happens to fall. Mix and knead by hand. Ferment for 2 hours at room temperature, divide into two balls, then 24 hours in the refrigerator. Shape as desired. Cindy Hamilton |

It's a dessert, dingleberry. A pizza crust topped with sweet things and none of the usual pizza toppings.. There's a bakery here that makes danishes that look like pizzas. They're pretty good. I had a mobile terminal in my vehicle at work that allowed me to check license plates while moving. Just before I retired we all ended up getting laptops with mobile terminals. Punch in a license plate and it would would display all the registration information, name of owner, address, make, model and year of vehicle. It would show a red flag if the owner was unlicensed or under suspension. There would also be flags for various driver issues, like a history of violence, criminal charges etc. A click on the driver information would take you to their driving records, like address changes, upgrades, downgrades, previous suspensions, and another click would take you to their conviction records. That was a pretty impressive system when I retired 16 1/2 years ago. I imagine that it has got even better since then. Some police cars are equipped with plate scanners that automatically read plates and record information. |

I get stopped all the time, cops think I'm too young to be driving. I have such a thick head of hair that from the rear they think I'm much younger. Then I tell them that my 1990 Landcruiser is older than them, I'm usually correct. |
