That's true. Tax laws are not simple and there is no way to please
everyone. That's why countries, states and provinces have their own tax
laws. Some have sales taxes and some do not. Some have programs that
need funding and others see no need for those services if it is going to
cost the taxpayers more.

I remember some toilet stall graffiti from the early 70s.... when shit
becomes of value the poor will be born without assholes.

LOL.... Some years ago my brother told me about driving his daughter to
Windsor for university. They had stopped along the way for lunch.
Fifteen minutes later he had to go so badly he thought he was going to
explode. I asked him if he had eaten at McDonalds. Sure enough. He is
my brother and we share the same inherited digestive processes. I had
made the mistake of eating at McDs a couple times in my early years
working on the road.

Hybrid flat tax. First $20,000, no tax. Next $30,000 very low tax,
Next $XX,000 a bit higher tax and so forth. No deductions, no
exemptions, no bull shit from accountants and lawyers.

Made like that, the OO is important. I like fresh tomatoes on pizza.
Most pizza uses sauce and no matter how good the crust is, crappy sauce
will spoil the experience. You need balance, same with cheese and
toppings. We all have different tastes of course, but crap ingredients
are a fail.

Sorry Ed, but the accountant and lawyer lobby won´t stand for that, and
lawyers control Congress. Too many of them become President.

Count me the 29% then but I know how to make a crust, so the difference

What's your favorite Dough recipe you use?

I'm partial to this one:

1.5lb dough

1 c water
4 ts olive oil
2 3/4 c flour
1/4 c cornmeal
3/4 ts salt
1 ts yeast
3-4 ts various spices (matched to the pizza)

I add that all into the machine and put it in dough mode then when out,
shape to the pan (or pans, might make 2 smaller ones), rolling to thick
or thick at the mood of the time. Generally 2 thin or 1 thick there.
Roll them out a bit bigger and you can tuck bits of cheese and
seasonings along that then fold over and crimp down a bit with fingers
or fork for a nice crust edge.

No tax on Social Security or pension funds here, it evens out. Y'all have a low local
sales tax and make up for with a state income tax. I had a friend who lived in
Pennsylvania and they had no tax on clothes, I can't remember if they had a sales
tax on food or not. But they have a state income tax and have to pay for a state
inspection on vehicles.

I once rode along with a co-worker to the parts store to buy some tubing for a brake line. He was a young kid that had a vintage Jeep. The guys at the shop called him "surfer boy." The brake line was for the Jeep, which we were in. That thing was geared so low that having no brakes wasn't that much of a problem. That was a memorable ride.

My boss had an early 70's souped up Toyota Celica. He took me for a ride in it one time. I think he was trying to impress/scare me. Mostly, I thought he spent too much money fixing it up. The guys at the shop called his car "Jap-mobile." I had an RX2 coupe at the time. My guess is that I could have beaten his jap-mobile with my jap-mobile easily in a drag race.

Of course, but unless you have a reason to stop a car, you don't know what
they're toting around. We have laws against what is called illegal search and seizure.

Here they scan your license plate and if you're not registered, it
shows up on their system and your ass is grass.

Now that looks like a walnut, as opposed to pecan pie filling with little
marshmallows on a pizza crust. If I´m right, what´s not to like. If I´m
wrong, Ewwww!

If all y'all put marshmallows on pizzas, I consider that proof that
American civilisation is coming to an end (before it has begun).

We are transitioning into a lawless society. BLM and Antifa are pushing dim

BLM and Antifa criminals should be locked up just as much as gun
toting "covid is a hoax" criminals. If you ask me.

You can put damned near anything on a flatbread and make it a meal. I
wouldn´t be opposed to jelly, cole slaw, pumpkin pie filling, barbecued
pork, cream cheese, tuna or smoked oysters as a topping. Anything you would
like as a sandwich works for a flatbread. Of things that I like that way,
I´d draw the line at...?
Of course, I wouldn´t call it a pizza on rfc, but what would I call
it?
Let´s call it a leoza. If everyone here get´s busy with their own ideas,
we can make the leoza famous!

All those things aren't nearly as bizarre as marshmallows.

I agree, but how can that include marshmallows?

But there's only one original leoza recipe:
-pizza crust
-tomato sauce
-marshmallows

Give `er a shot and get back to me. If you can eat it with a smile, we'll
call it leoza #1 with all due respect to dsi1 who started this mess. dsi1za

Are those melted marshmallows in his picture? Is Hawaii being

Sorry. The cornmeal is a fail for me. Too gritty. I never use cornmeal in
anything.

Here's the recipe I use:

8 ounces water
1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
1-2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
12.16 ounces flour
1 teaspoon salt

All ounces are by weight. Obviously 12.16 is a misguided conversion
from grams, and my kitchen scale doesn't have that much precision
anyway. I give it 12.1 or 12.2, wherever it happens to fall.

Mix and knead by hand. Ferment for 2 hours at room temperature,
divide into two balls, then 24 hours in the refrigerator. Shape as
desired.

It's a dessert, dingleberry.

A pizza crust topped with sweet things and none of the usual pizza toppings..

There's a bakery here that makes danishes that look like pizzas. They're
pretty good.

We have and use that too. If the car is registered and insured, you
have to have a reason to stop it. Traffic violation. light out, window
tint too dark, etc. Once the stop is made, anything visible is fair game.

I had a mobile terminal in my vehicle at work that allowed me to check
license plates while moving. Just before I retired we all ended up
getting laptops with mobile terminals. Punch in a license plate and it
would would display all the registration information, name of owner,
address, make, model and year of vehicle. It would show a red flag if
the owner was unlicensed or under suspension. There would also be flags
for various driver issues, like a history of violence, criminal charges
etc. A click on the driver information would take you to their driving
records, like address changes, upgrades, downgrades, previous
suspensions, and another click would take you to their conviction records.

That was a pretty impressive system when I retired 16 1/2 years ago. I
imagine that it has got even better since then. Some police cars are
equipped with plate scanners that automatically read plates and record
information.

I get stopped all the time, cops think I'm too young to be driving. I
have such a thick head of hair that from the rear they think I'm much
younger. Then I tell them that my 1990 Landcruiser is older than
them, I'm usually correct.
