Default I made another batch of English Toffee today

It's laying under waxed paper on Da Marble Slab for me to cover on chocolate tomorrow at my leisure.

I like keeping a batch around just in case I need a lb or two as gifts! And of course for EATING!

Joy Of Cooking recipe:

3.5cups sugar + 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
2 pints 40% cream
2 sticks unsalted butter

Cook to 310F, stir in 1tsp Almond Extract and 2tsp Vanilla

Pour onto Marble Slab, score into small rectangles then break apart and dip pieces in milk chocolate coating.
