Default National Pepperoni Pizza Day 2020

With a pesto-romano cream sauce, motz, provolone, and
anchovy-stuffed olives. Like most of these holidays, I didn't know
about this one until 3-4 hours ago when I read my "restaurant
email".

Aside from the olives it looks good. Is the pepperoni shortage over?

Man, when I was a kid, *green* olives were a choice for pizza toppings.
Ripe olives on pizza are great, especially Greek/Turkish ones. Green
olives on pizza is wrong.

On pizza sliced pimento stuffed green olives matter... and anchovy...
without anchovy pizza is worthless.
Tonight's dinner was Italian saw-seege with lots of homegrown green
peppers, and homemade tomato sauce... exceptionally good and plenty
for tomorrow... may add pasta. And still got a load of green peppers
in the fridge, saved the big ones, may stuff them.

I like olives. I don't like them on pizza. It's not about your concept of what adults should like.

Ed probably has the least childish taste buds of anyone here. Or at least he's in the top five.

What if they were good anchovies and not the crappy kind you get in a can?

Nope, have enough information. Don't like them but I do like olive oil.

As for childish, both my kids liked olives. It was a fun kid thing with
the pitted ones to stick them on their fingers.

Who says kids don't like olives? Kids tastes change as they develop.
Toddlers often like beer and dill pickles but as they age they stop
liking them.

My crazy nephew let my son taste beer when he was a baby. For months
after, my son would reach for my beer every day.

Bruce. His claim is that anyone who doesn't like olives (specifically on
pizza, in this thread), has the taste buds of a child.

That looks great! I think I could wing it for something similar. No pizza
dough to mess with either.

Brad Sherwood: Honey, bring out the steaks. I'm gonna light the barbeque.

Your pizza reminds me of the underside of a giant squid arm. I'd
eat that pizza. You know that I like more sauce on mine?
