It doesn't surprise me that you haven't even done the most cursory of background checking on this person who's treating you and your house like shit. https://i.postimg.cc/fRMfjgrf/Justin.jpg I've left the last name out, but its easy to find out if somebody wants to double-check this info. Note that Snohomish County is less than a mile from where Julie lives now, and her gardener used to live just 1.5 miles east of her - probably a ranch hand tending to the horses and goats. So Yes, I'm sure I have the right person. Oh, and I checked - the restraining order was AGAINST him (AKA, "Respondent"). ObFood: Now I'm going to bake oatmeal cookies and watch Sin City (as some of you already guessed). -sw |

Oh Wait - IT GETS BETTER! JULIE got a restraining order against him back on 11/14/2019 for domestic violence. Typical abused woman, lets the culprit back into the house to live with her. It looks like a weapon was brandished in the altercation. And to think Julie creates drama over not being able to find peanuts at Walmart and she's sitting on this goldmine of drama with her housemate/gardener? Heh. ObFood: I should have made popcorn instead of oatmeal cookies. -sw |

ISTR another regular poster here who dangled a carrot here few months back. (His ex getting out of jail soon for murdering his lover.) Are you going to do another exposé? And Steve, please let me re-iterate: 1) I assess your 'on-topic' overall rating in the top 10% of all here. 2) I do appreciate your expression of the pockets of expertise you have garnered over the years, both food-related & otherwise. 3) I do not believe that you have ever deliberately lied here. However, sometimes you toss a nugget which when combined with 'normal' context people assume for the lives of others yields a gross discrepancy between perception & reality. I'm sure I notice this more than others because it is a conversational tool which I employ often myself. |

You can tinker with crispy vs. soft by starting with the recommended amount of butter and replacing butter with shortening (a tablespoon at a time per baking) until you get the profile you want. The more shortening you add, the paler, taller and crispy your cookie will become. Be careful. It doesn't take much shortening to go from soft to rock. Janet US |

So that would buy a lot of glue :-) The problem with glue is that it needs to hold up to constant freezing temps and it needs to hold a significant load when it twists. I've found that JB Weld doesn't work worth a shit on anything I've tried except for my petrified duck :-) The body is a septarian concretion that's 40 million years old (give or take a few million). https://i.postimg.cc/QMXzMZK2/Concretion-Duck-4.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/y8C5wZ1Y/Petrified-Duck.jpg -sw |

It is meant for equipment, etc. no matter what JB says. $100 is a lot of bucks. I was thinking maybe $35 but it's been awhile since I've been to the appliance repair store. All I can say is that if you go to a well equipped store and look over all the adhesives and read the label, you will find disclaimers against certain types of 'plastics'. You've got to find the one that matches your tray. Does your fridge manufacturer have an adhesive available through a web site? Janet US (BTDT) |

Also, the first thing she comments on is the rest period for the oats to absorb moisture from the butter. I think you are probably right about the old oats. Let me know how this turns out. I don't make a good oatmeal cookie and I would like to give this a try. Which reminds me, it is time to clean the oven from a year's worth of gunk. Outside temperature is good for leaving the doors open for fresh air. Janet US |

Tray not sold separately. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-DA97-...2&s=hi&sr=1-3& They're not gonna a sell separate glue - not their style. They want top milk you for whole assembly. Unlike the oven igniter I had to buy last month - that was $160 from Samsung, but $15 aftermarket-Amazon. There are no afetrmarket ice makers or trays. It's "genuine Samsung" or nothing. -sw |

I found a small problem and then put it back in and noticed the crack. Then took it back out again and tired to glue it (twice). It turns out I can buy an ice tray from Amazon for $7. But as soon as I do that something else on the ice-maker will fail. The sensor arm is already busted and duck-taped since month #3 of ownership. And these trays only have a lifespan is 3-4 years. It's a well-known design flaw, along with the sensor arm (it breaks when you open the drawer while it sensing). -sw |

I was always talking shit to Ray Banana, especially about his allowing forgers and trolls in RFC. I remember what it was now and I was in the right (I worked for Microsoft at the time). I don't give a shit why you even brought this or what you heard up after probably 12-14 years. That just makes you the troll and instigator. <yawn> -sw |
