Default When I was in Austin TX with my job for IBM...

....I had an Austin IBMer ask me if I'd ever announced for radio, because I have a very sonorous "Radio like" voice! Which my Honorary (not blood) Granddaughter Kiara seemed to really respond to and I first held her and talk with her today!

We first met today, she's about month old and a real sweetheart of a baby! :-)

I got three voices - my regular voice, my speech voice, and a radio voice. I don't much care for my regular voice, my speech voice comes deep in the chest and is hard to keep up for long, my radio voice is a combination of deep voice with some nasal thrown in. My wife has a totally awesome voice when recorded - one imagines all kinds of things on playback.

The Hawaiians have all kinds of non-blood or distant relationships. These are called "hanai." This can mean a formal adoption or an informal understanding of taking care of or raising other people's children. I believe the roots of this practice comes from the Chinese and Hawaiian cultures.

Oh good lord. Have you resorted to accosting women with babies on the
sidewalk?

We'll have to ask Steve if you have a "sonorous" voice.
