A smattering of stuffings, chicken parts and chicken pot pie. No turkey to be found. Bezos must recoup his spending to buy WF by cheating the buffet patrons.

Where is the cheating? It is not a case of big corporation, it is truth and facts. If he paid for a 12 pound turkey and they gave him a chicken leg that is a legitimate complaint. Items were offered for sale. He chose not to buy. He may have wanted a turkey leg and was disappointed, but he was not cheated. In this case, he paid for nothing, he got nothing. There are many ways to cheat customers, this is not one of them. Show me the cheating. verb 1. act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. "she always cheats at cards" noun a person who behaves dishonestly in order to gain an advantage. "a liar and a cheat" You can trust me to be honest not matter what side is right or wrong, big corporation or poor person. Your comment merely shows your purpose here. |

Rich and powerful people don't have to worry about arriving late to a Thanksgiving Buffet and find they've run out of food or have crappy food. Constant appetizers and snacky foods would be on hand along with glasses of bubbly. ![]() Jill |

Maybe this year Bezos couldn't find a decent processed turkey product to use for the buffet? My guess is that a decent processed turkey product might not exist. I think that in the future, we'll have plant based 3D printed turkey substance that's superior to the real thing. We won't have to worry about defrosting and cooking a turkey! It's something we can all look forward to. https://d2lnr5mha7bycj.cloudfront.ne...ff1c04ff3c.jpg |

This Christmas my wife and I will be helping out at the Christmas Day community dinner at her church where the expect to feed as many as 600 people. We did the same two years ago and they had a processed turkey roll that was quite tasty. It was better than some roast turkey I have had. Heck, it was good enough that I later bought the chicken version of it for ourselves. |

Yes, you will have to take my word for it. All I can say is that we got to sit down and eat after hundreds of others had had a nice Christmas meal. I can't say that I had really low expectations because the meals that I had seen being served looked pretty good, but I can say that when I had my meal I was delightfully surprised. |

No sarcasm is intended. I have to take your word for it because you've had it and I haven't. I'm in no position to give my opinion until I try this roll thing. The turkey rolls that I've tried have been too salty. That's saying a lot because I have a high tolerance for salt. Ha ha, I know that's bucking the trend in this newsgroup filled with people that read instead of taste. I'm just an old fashioned guy. ![]() |

You dummy. ![]() Anyway, back in the 1970's, I tried a processed frozen turkey loaf thing and it was absolutely delicious. MUCH better than plain turkey. Came in a small bread-loaf size foil pan with a cardboard lid. I don't remember the brand but I did love that stuff. Question for you: what is the brand name of what you like? |

I don't suffer eating turkey. But when he's gone there'll be no reason to cook a whole turkey. Now, if I wished for him to die so my electric bill would be lower--that would be unloving. I agree with you, Joan. She did not say that or imply it but that's a typical RFC response. Someone intreprets a simple comment but then twists into a different meaning. After that, everyone here starts commenting about the misunderstanding. |
