Default my lunchtime sandwich spread

Crackers (preferred) or bread

Canned tuna, drained
shredded cheese (depends what I have in the fridge)
minced onion
minced pimento stuffed olives
mayonnaise
some fresh ground pepper
a little salt (taste before you salt)

Easy and quick and tasty

I can't wait for someone (guess) to chide you for cheese and tuna. Or
any fish, for that matter.

Your spread isn't my cuppa tea but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

He gave a pass to canned tuna and cheese years ago. (could have
changed)
I just don't like the taste of lunch meat any more. Everything tastes
like it has been in the refrigerated case sharing flavors and smells.

Coincidentally, I had tuna salad for lunch today. Same
ingredients as you except for the cheese. On toasted
white bread.

That's similar to what I make. It's perfect for a light meal,
especially during very hot weather when I just don't want to cook
anything, or don't want a belly full of food.

I like the town house original crackers, but sometimes I spread it
on two pieces of toast to make a sandwich. Instead of salt, I use a
tiny amount of old bay seasoning (which is sadly, mostly salt

I never was a fan of lunch meat or cold sandwiches.

I started the cheese thing years ago when one can of tuna needed to be
stretched. Now I add it because we like it.

I like a tuna salad with solid tuna, and full fat yogurt on a fluffy pita style bread.

I like tuna melts ... like a grilled cheese sandwich, but with tuna
salad.

Try walmart, they usually have plenty of the oil tuna. It's better I
think, but many people only want watery tuna.

no oil pack, too tough to find. Just good old Costco Chicken of the
Sea.

I like cheese in mine. Sometimes I use cottage cheese instead of mayo.
