Â* That a gallon Ziploc bag of frozen muscadines will make over 8
half-pints of jelly and 4 quarts of "juice" ? << a cup of grapes and a
half cup of sugar top up with water and water bath process for 10
minutes>> My wife used to make that juice drink for the kids , they
loved it and it's a lot better for them than Koolaid .

Nope, I didn't know that. Then again, I've never tasted muscadine
grapes. Or muscadine wine.

I'm glad it worked out well for you. I love fruit juice but not with
added sugar. Kool-Aid? Nope. "Juice drink?" Uh... no. How about just
unsweetened natural fruit juice?

Most fruit juice is loaded with sugar. I get a lof of that pineapple
juice<?> from Costco, the stuff that has a lot of apple and grape juice
in it. I occasionally get cranberry juice for the medicinal value, which
might be compromised by the added sugar. The best juice we get is sour
cherry juice concentrate. It is great for joint issues but it ain't
cheap. A 750 ml bottle of the stuff is $21, but it is diluted 10:1 for
drinking.

Scoot over Jill and let me sit on that bench, too. I did not know this about
muscadines nor have I tasted them either.

Let me have Jill's glass; I'll take the sugar added fruit juice if she doesn't
want it.

Not much demand for them. If enough people wanted that size,
they'd make that size.
