Default Do I really want to buy agave nectar?

What's the sub for agave nectar? I really don't want to buy some
other sweet when I am trying to eliminate all the odds and ends that
I already have in my pantry.
Thx

I recall seeing "agave nectar" on the store shelf (never used it), but
what I really remember is a news item about a new booze make from agave.

"Rancillio" or something to that effect (never tried it, either).

Hispanic markets will generally sell agave in different forms; dried,
frozen, canned, I've even seen it sold fresh.

I'd just use sugar or corn syrup. There may be a conversion someplace
though. Cup of sugar is about the same as 2/3 cup of agave.

Here's a guide on using agave nectar instead of other sugars.
Just do the inverse:

I believe agave nectar is a substitute for corn syrup or some sort of
sugarless sweetener. Not something I'd have any use for.

I bought some. I used it once or twice. I think that corn syrup or even
a simple syrup would work.

I'd rather tequilla.

so, you didn't see a flash of light that said agave nectar was so much
better tasting or some such revelation?

I buy the tevia brand. My wife has lyme. Not lemmons.

[dark] Corn syrup, probably, depending on the recipe. IIRC, agave
is slightly less sweet, so knock it down 33%.
