Default Thanksgiving Dinner in Las Vegas

Went to LV for Thanksgiving, had tickets to see Rod Stewart. He was wonderful

For Thanksgiving , we had Brunch in the hotel. It was nothing short of magnificent, First there was a buffet with Fresh huge shrimp, oysters Crab legs etc. different cheeses, and so much more it would have been impossible .

Th entree we picked was turkey, very moist white meat, two kinds of dressing, one had different kinds of fruit in it, I had not had anything like it before, but it as excellent, veggies etc You also got dark meat, part of a turkey leg with wonderful pomade cranberry sauce , a different consistency than i have seen , almost like applesauce. Wonderful home made rolls of different flavors,
Dessert was a choice of desserts, John picked five and put them on a plate. Yes he actually ate them. I was horrified. Some nice wine and we could barely walk back to the room.

the reason we stayed at the Hotel , which BTW was the nicest I have ever seen was that i am limping around with my foot in a big boot , broken foot. Not bad but un comfortable.

The night before we ate in the French Rest TWIST, will nit go into detail but was fantastic, had a three star Michelin chef, Pierre something or other. Have not eaten much today, we are home and i feel like I ate enough for a week.

Sounds like a great time. I don't much care for Las Vegas but eating at a LV buffet is like being at a Disneyland of food. It's a heck of an experience. Hawaii just loves LV. A lot of people here go several times a year. It's been called the 9th Hawaiian island. The locals like to stay at the California Hotel. If you go to the casino there, you'd think you were in Hawaii. It's kinda weird.

I love Hawaii, have been back many times since we left. I could have lived there forever I think.
