curious what you would consider the traits of
Dutch cuisine. we are not Europhiles so we were just talking and sadly both of us got very little further than Danishes. i said "seafood". could it be as simple as "seafood pies"? songbird |

What more research can you want? ![]() I worked with a Dutch guy (from Holland), a welder, and was invited to dinner there often... his wife prepared all sorts of pickled herring, excellent. They ate pork but rarely beef. They ate a lot of home grown vegetables too. His wife was an excellent cook. He and his wife were old enough to be my parents, they both passed about twenty five years ago. |
