I doubt the true lover of Spam would be interested. They won't even eat a can of Treet - unless they're forced to. All those videos on how to make Spam on Youtube are not Spam, they're homemade luncheon meat. OTOH, as far as fake luncheon meat goes, they're probably not bad. Or are they?

I don't think that SPiced hAM is really made with ham. It's probably made with pork shoulder and the area below the shoulder i.e., "picnic ham." OTOH, it might be that there is real ham in Spam these days. It's a good way to get rid of trimmings from ham production.

I think your husband will like homemade Spam. After all, you made it for him. He might be rightly proud. My wife is not a big fan, thank God...
