I'm too old to hunt them anymore, and the store doesn't stock them. I think that urban people over here are repulsed by the thought of eating Easter Bunnies and Horsies. Our state is lousy with wild horses, but they're illegal to shoot and eat (harvest). They have become a problem, but if a season was set, they'd be thinned out in no time. The bunnies that I used to eat were Cottontails. We do have Black Tailed Jackrabbits, but they are mostly placed on Earth to propagate ticks, warble worms and tularemia. Ewwww! leo == Ewww indeed!!! I don't think I've seen rabbit for sale in the shops, but then I am not looking for them. We have shot a few with Mixi but not too many. |
