I make my own pancake mix but these people even grew wheat for the
flour. Too involved for me.

People get bent out of shape if you don't mow your grass for
a few weeks (guilty), some call the authorities if you dare
put tomato plants or lettuce in your front yard ... imagine
growing wheat?

When it comes to pancakes, I'm their polar opposite, I'm all
about the Power Cakes mix.

Wow!! I have two housewide garden beds out front of my house! When I lived in the Skinker-DeBalliviere neighborhood by upstairs Agricultural Goddess Ginny asked our landlord if we could make some of the front yard into a garden and the landlord said OK, and when Ginny asked ME (Ginny lived on the 2nd floor, I lived on the 1st floor) I told her as far as I was concerhen she could make the whole front yard into a garden!

And we practically DID! I remember Ginny digging up some sweet potatoes she's planted and she gave me one,. and YUM!! :-) I nuked it and put butter and brown sugar on it! Excellent! I hope to duplicate that this Fall as I have a VERY healthy sweet potato plant(s? hard to tell!) in one of my front garden beds!

After lamb pancakes are my least favorite food... they are just an

My son came by for brunch again on Sunday and brought more stale
baguettes for French toast. He made a sauce with strawberries and
blueberries. I think it was better than maple syrup.

My wife occasionally makes a Dutch pancake with a spiced apple topping.
We sometimes have it for brunch, but it has also been made for dessert.

You likely say fortay... it's properly pronounced FORT!
That would be one of those redundant commas that yoose comma freaks
stick everywhere, even up your orifices. A comma does NOT belong in
my sentence. With all the reading you claim to do you are wasting

You are one of the redundant comma users because you are a stutterer.
Actually from listening to your speech you are indeed a stutterer and
you leave long annoying pauses in your speech where you would insert
redundant commas. Your speech is sickening to listen to, you can
barely spit out the words... you have the speech pattern of the
typical backwoods southerner.
BTW, I taught the navy more than they taught me, a lot more... there
was nothing they could teach me about cooking, truth is I taught them.

Can be, however fortay is the pronunciation of the uneducated, like
the majority of newscasters.
If any are interested "fort" refers to the hilt of a sword.

ROFL! What a ridiculous statement! There are a few people here who
have actually spoken to me who can attest that is a lie.

Don't try to worm your way out of not knowing where a comma belongs in a
sentence.

When starting sentence with "After" it clues you in that it is a list
that requires a comma. It sounds like you are talking about lamb
pancakes Substitute blueberry and it sounds like you are talking about
pancakes with blueberries, not two separate items.

Thank you, Ed. :) Lamb pancakes don't sound very interesting.
