The MO Psychiatric Hospital on Arsenal was very old school, not there for years like it once was and has a very evil past. In the 1900's the upper tier of the capitol dome was rented to wealthy spectators who paid to watch and taunt the "crazies"down below.

The town I live in was famous for one thing alone. It was the town where the mad people of Hawaii resided. The state psychiatric hospital is in Kaneohe. These days it's famous as the town where the insane escape from. Personally, I think the problem is way overblown.

I never heard it until my kids started singing it in the 90's. It takes a while for these kid's tunes to hit our shores.
