Default Marcona almonds

Do you eat these? If so, where do you buy them?

Years ago, I bought them at QFC which is owned by Kroger. They were very
good. Have not seen any there for some time.

Recently bought a package at some specialty grocery. Can't remember which
one. Very expensive. Tasted just like regular such as Blue Diamond almonds.
So a waste of money.

Looked online and read that the Kirkland brand were the best. Found some at
the Business Costco. Don't know if they sell them at the regular Costco.
Reasonable price and just as tasty as I remembered. Regular almonds are good
but these seem lighter and crunchier.

Costco has 2-day delivery on jars for $12.99. They may be available
in the store. You can get them from Amazon, same size jar for $17.99
but if you're a Prime member you won't have to pay the delivery fee
that you would if you purchased from Costco. Put a pencil to it and
see which way is cheaper.

I checked and the two day delivery is Instacart. I did try that before.
Prices on some things are much higher than if you go there to buy. Marcona
almonds are the same price but there is a delivery fee. Might also be a tip
involved. Can't remember. Has been a while since I used Instacart.

*sigh*

I was told that I had OAS. Not a true allergy. With OAS the body mistakes
the food for a pollen. One can have it year round or it can be present only
when the pollen that the food cross reacts with is high. In the case of
something like an apple, sometimes the person can eat it cooked but not raw.
At this point in time, almonds are not a problem for me. Doesn't mean they
won't be again.

I most certainaly did mention the symptoms many years ago. Saw an allergist
who said it wasn't a true allergy but OAS to almonds and pistachioa. Haven't
tried pistachios. I like them but can live without them.

Why in the world would I want anyone to feel sorry for me? I don't. That's
rather warped. I also don't care what anyone here believes. Most of you just
sit there and make stuff up then laugh about it.

That could be. I have only ever gotten the Instacart and that wasn't
recently. I will check your link.

Okay... I did check. For this area it is powered by Instacart and the price
of the items I ordered in the past was higher than what I paid in the store.
Perhaps they have since waved the fee. The fee was waived for my first order
and also the second, because they send me an email with a code to waive it.

My wife has to be careful with mangos. The sap on the skin causes a bad reaction on her hands and mouth. I have to peel it for her and make sure to rinse the fruit off. Mostly, I end up eating all the mangos. Hee hee.

Same with me, I'm probably allergic to mangos. But matters not, I
don't like mangos, not much to eat on a mango, they're all pit and
fibers that stick in my teeth. I'd much rather eat a field ripened
cantaloupe or honeydew.

I don't like them either and gave up on trying to cut them up.

I know there are types with much less fiber but I have no way of
knowing in the produce section and I've never been lucky.

I love all mangos, with a bit of fibre or not. Here, the standard
supermarket type is the Bowen mango. I don't find them overly fibrous.

My father in law grew mangos in Belize and those were very good, no
fibers, but here in NY they all seem to be fiberous. His trees grew
wonderful papaya, we had some every morning for breakfast. He swore
by coconut water, he lived to 96. I don't know it was the coconut
water so much as it was a stress free life.

I don't know how to do a screenshot. I do know that the Marcona almonds are
the same price as in the warehouse. It does say that the prices are higher
than at the warehouse. The Fiji water was for sure higher. Not sure about
the Tootsie Pops. I did just place an order.

let me know how that works out. I would rather go to the store itself
and shop but there may be times that it would be helpful to order
delivery.

The prices *are* higher at least for some things for 2 day delivery. I know
what I pay in the store. And you have a nasty mouth.

I've been called a liar by these people many times for the stupidest of things. Their souls are so thin and vaccious that they feel the need to feed off the life force of others. All I know is that they shall get no meat off of me!

How can you be a liar when you're always just guessing? Man, they're
stupid.

Who said anything about prices being higher? The petty point that
you are lying about has always been how they ship their 2-day orders
- which is not Instacart. TYiou just make up that lie as an excuse
to bitch about a sugfgestion that was made to you.

The point being here that you make up lies and excuses to poo-poo
everything under the sun, no matter how petty. The biggest lies, of
course, being those lies about your fictitious allergies just so you
can poo-poo all the food suggestions. I caught you doing it 3
different times within 24 hours.

You're sick in the head, Julie. And you're a miserable **** for
putting people here though your ridiculous charade for all these
years.

Have a nice day, but don't try and do it here.

Yep. They are not worth it. Bruce would get my meat but he's a vegetarian,
so... He can have my beans! Hehehe.
