On the way home today I was listening to the horror story of a women
trying to get some official documentation. She was raised by a couple
parents who had some pretty radical ideas. She was born in a home, her
birth was not recorded, never went to school, never had vaccinations.
The father didn't want the government assigning her a number. The only
form of documentation she had was her baptism certificate. Surprise
surprise.
