Loved them to death too. Once my daughter showed up with a pair of ferrets, I wasn't happy until I got to know them. A year later when she was moving back out, she was going to find a shelter to take them to. I told her forget it, these ferrets are mine now. 12 years total with ferrets. Seriously the most adorable and loving pets ever. Again...extremely high maintenence though - much more than cats or dogs but you'll never have a closer pet friend than a ferret. If anyone here ever considers a ferret as a pet, please contact me just so I can tell you exactly what you are getting into. I so hate when people adopt a pet, then shop them off later when they don't want the hassle. This happens often with ferrets. This is how I luckily got Mia, she was a rescue. |
