I've heard "nappy headed" for years. I have never heard any native-born American refer to diapers as "nappies". Cindy Hamilton ===== I have never heard an American call them nappies either, but I sure have heard *nappy* used other ways. Cheri |

I actually have grown children who love me and enjoy being around me, you obviously do not since we never hear about anything other than animals dropping in on you. I have to admit that I made it through parenthood changing only one dirty time. The boy was lucky that the day he had diarrhea in the car seat was a nice hot one, because I took him in the car seat to the barn and hosed off him and the car seat, then undressed him and hosed him down some more. It was fun and games for him to get sprayed with the hose on a hot summer day. I had a friend whose mother was an older sister of the Dionne quintuplets. Lucky for them that the community and the government stepped in to provide help with the rearing of those kids. They had a few more kids after the quints. |
