Someone had been a real slob and dumped their garbage there and that was bad, but he was making such a big deal over it. Apparently it did not incense him enough that he was inspired to pick it up. |

I could not help but think that if it bothered him so much he could have picked it up and carried it to the trash can that he would be walking right past on the way into the Y. |

I did mention that Xmas Day night we had high winds with gusts up to hurricane force, we lost power (along with many others) all that night. I will remove all the plastic but today is bitterly cold with a wind chill factor as well so it won't be today. Besides which if I ask the super to give me access to the tool room, he will want to know why, then he will insist that he goes out and does it, I prefer to let him enjoy his break at least until tomorrow. I can avoid looking out that window. |

He said he was too surprised to say anything at the time, so he got a plastic bag and cleaned it up, if it was me...I would have chased her down and made her come back while giving HER the plastic bag to clean it up. I knew whose dog it was so I shovelled it up and put it in his mailbox. When he knocked on the door raving his head off I told him he might have thought it was a nice gift, but we really didn't want it and perhaps if he didn't like it, he should see a lawyer :) I was laughing because at that point he was a Crown Prosecutor :) |

When I was a teen there was someone from another street who frequently brought her dog to crap in our front yard and would stand there and encourage the dog to have a dumb there, then praise it when the dirty deed was done. My brother went out and confronted her one day and she wisely stopped. I guess she took him seriously when he said he would pick it up and throw on her front steps. There are some pick it up in those little poop bags and then leave the bag there. I see those things on the walking trails around here. Heck, they could have just flicked the turds into the bushes and no one would see them. I saw a lady do it on a bicycle trail on day. She had picked the stuff up, tied the bag, looked around to see if anyone was watching. I pointed it out as I went by and she said that it must have slipped out of her hand. Yeah. Right. We once visited with some friends in Sweden who had two dogs and took them for long walks every night. The only mow the grass on one side of the trails on a regular basis and the other side is for curbing your dogs. The turds are hidden in the long grass. |

People occasionally would leave trash. He saw one car dump two bags. He saw the car, found the address in the bag. The fool left the windows down when the parked the car that night. |

Most of the people are pretty good about cleaning up after their dogs, and are also pretty good about letting owners know that their dog has had a dump. There is the occasional person who seems to think that picking up their dog's shit is beneath them, and they will be reminded that it is their responsibility. |
